Description:

The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the Marketing Support Manager in support of both Traditional Strategies and Alternative Strategies divisions within this investment manager. Over the initial six to twelve months, this person would develop an in-depth understanding in the investment process, products and obtain knowledge in the asset management industry in general. In the longer term the role will require client interaction with the possibility of sales orientated activities:

X Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills ?X an internship or at least some experience in financial servicesindustrypreferably fund management?
X Education: university degree as a minimum
X Qualifications: target to obtain Investment Management Certificate (IMC) within the first yearin order to meet threshold conditions for FSA authorisation
X Strong analytical and research skills
X Knowledge of the products and of the market environment at a theoretical level is preferred?X The ability to work in a flexible environment
X Developed IT skills. The diversity within this job will dictate a broad knowledge of MS office applications and use of customised systems, with particular emphasis on excel and A fund manager which invests in both traditional and alternative asset classes via a multi-manager proposition.

£30-35k base + benefits
